Creative Arts Therapy

image

Creative arts therapy at the Thirteenth Moon Center, facilitated by Susan, offers you the power and experimentation of art expression with the insights and methods of psychotherapy. The process of bringing forth personal images creates channels for clearing pain or trauma and transforming feelings of anger, grief and loss to hope, peace of mind and well-being. You can re-connect to yourself on a deep soul level beyond words within the dynamic relationship between client and art therapist as witness.

Shamanism

image

Shamanism is an age-old tradition practiced around the world for thousands of years. Shamanic healing, offered by both Susan and Chris, is an active spiritual response that helps fill inner voids with your own personal power. We help you to be more present in your body so that you will feel whole and centered while dealing with your personal needs. A shamanic healing may help to resolve physical, emotional, traumatic and spiritual dis-ease.

Our Surroundings

Our comfortable home office and round studio yurt, constructed in 1995, provide peaceful spaces for healing sessions, classes and workshops, and art making.

We are located in Montville, Maine on thirty-five acres of fields and forest, conveniently situated near Belfast, Waterville, Augusta, and Bangor. Our backyard is the headwaters of the Sheepscot River, which intertwines with bogs and wetlands held as "forever wild" in conservation with a local land trust.
